He is like any other player, if he does stupid stuff he hurts us, if he doesn't he helps us. No different than anyone else. He was outstanding tonight. If he plays like this its a huge plus. Makes us a really hard team to beat.

K State played out of their minds and still lost.

I have always said that when Allen plays within the flow of the offense he is very good. When he forces it, he isn't.

    This.

But most players are like that... But Allen forces it way more than most players

Chris Allen is our Tyshawn Taylor. Horrible game, Horrible game, Horrible game, wins a game, everyone loves him.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

It's not all or none. He has been bad more often than good, and tonight he was great. I think he can do this all of the time....and hope this game is a turning point for him. If he plays like this always, then we just became a much better team.

Re: Still think Allen doesn't help this team?

It seemed like he was asked to play more of a SG role tonight and I think that helped. Allen makes much better decisions off the ball. Scotty and Royce ran the offense much of the time tonight. That may have as much to do with Spradling guarding Scott than a permanent philosophy change.
