Booker?
Anyone know the status of Booker? He was limping after he was taken down in the second half and after a few minutes was taken out for the game. Was this injury related or something else?

Re: Booker?
Yea he was definitely limping a little, hopefully it is nothing serious.

Re: Booker?
Just got home and watched the interviews. nothing mentioned on him, so imo he is probably fine

Re: Booker?
Maybe he was just sore/cramping.
On a related note, Percy Gibson put in some good minutes tonight. 5 points in 11 minutes, got to the line once, and he took two fouls so that Melvin didn't have to. When you win with a last second shot, no scoring contribution is too small, and Melvin took a charge to give Rodriguez his fifth foul of the evening.

He has a lightning first step, which with a couple drive/kickouts could have buried us down the stretch. That was a huge call for us.

Re: Booker?
Really hope that kid stays positive. Near the end of the game when Ejim was coming out, Fred looked back of who to put in and he called Percy's name (who was sitting right next to Booker). Percy ran off and Booker shook his head and then slammed his hand down on the chair Percy was sitting on.
He seems the most disappointed with his PT on the team, and he left SIU due to lack of playing time... and he's getting less minutes here. Hope he stays positive because he is a HUGE role player for us and is going to be key for us.

I feel really good when he comes into the game, and I'm sure that was the competitor coming out in him.

Having depth is a good thing

Anthony is tweeting this morning, welcoming football recruits to ISU.

Re:Booker?
Booker is young and talented. He of course wil get frustrated when he's not on the court but Percy played great when Booker hot in foul trouble. So no problems with Fred sticking with the hot hand.

Having depth is a good thing Different teams, different players, it looks like Fred thought Gibson was a better match up for how the game was going.

Re: Booker?
On the post game show Coach Fred mentioned that some one had a blister on their foot that was very agrivating -- but I am not sure it was Booker. Any body else hear that?
-
Re: Booker?
It wasn't Booker it was Baab that had the blister -- answered in another thread.

Re: Booker?
Booker was tackled (no call of course) on either a rebound or turnover in the first half. Seemed like he was limping around a little bit after that, but he didn't come out immediately.

Re: Booker?
Babb was definitely limping late in the game due to that blister.
