Facebook Hawk Lols

I have (I guess had now...) a childhood friend on facebook who is a huge tavern hawk. He gets extremely bent out of shape whenever the Cyclones get any recognition whatsoever. After the football win against Iowa, he posted a facebook status about how classless the Cyclones were for breaking the trophy. Again posted after the OSU win about how classless it was for ISU to storm the field after Oklahoma State had "lost so many people that same day."

This morning, he posted the following status to his facebook.

"Hilton Magic"... if it truly existed, why did Iowa State lose at home to Northern Iowa and Drake?

In response, I posted this in reply to his status:

Ten minutes later, I couldn't see the post on my news feed any more. I typed his name in to search for him, and it told me that he only lets his friends see any of his information.

The guy unfriended me on Facebook because he was butthurt that ISU is getting attention.

I laughed.

Guy will probably be miserable when the CBS cameras are in the practice facility watching our guys waiting for their name to be called.

I was just gonna post this, but you beat me too it. That guy has a hard on for talking bad about ISU. He just can't handle that ISU is looking like a tournament team right now.

Its ok, we have the equiv. here too. I have my own version of hate for the hawks, but am able to admit when they are good. It might be a big show with that guy, hard to say, but its annoying as hell.

Gnome: If you could post a photo of your friend the entire world would laugh. Bet he's about 6'4" - 400 lbs., has a degree in underwater basket weaving and the closest he's ever gotten to a woman is his mom and / or sister!

Don't forget, that degree in underwater basket weaving didn't come from the U of I, cuz no UI fans went to school there.
