I Love Freddie's frustration face!
Did anyone catch the frustration face Freddie gave to Royce White (maybe not directed at him, perhaps to the team..)? When he called a TO and the team was gathering up chairs on the court. Freddie took away the ball from Royce White to give/bounce the ball back to the ref - seemed like his way of venting. Absolutely LOVED it!

Freddie had his intense face on last night. Guy is a huge competitor, and I think the team is taking on his intensity.

Freddie puts every other coach Iowa State ever had since LE to shame!

Seems like last year he held back his emotions. This year he has a little fire. I love it!

He knows this team has the tools to win, so he obviously expects more.

What is funny, though, is that when we won the game and I was going crazy at home, he calmly walks over to the K-State bench for postgame formalities. My wife looks at me and says "It looks like he isn't even excited!" I blamed it on his heart condition! Freddie is just a cool customer is all...

He expects to win, so it's just business as usual when he does.

I loved his locker room talk after the KU game. He calmly told the guys that we should expect to win those games.

Made post season two out of three years. With a 55-39 overall record. Not bad at all.

I guess if all you look at is W/L but I think it would be a stretch to say Morgan was good coach. What and how did he leave the program? Greg took over a cluster (and admittedly left another cluster). It makes what Fred has done in just two years that much more impressive.
