2/6 Bracketology

9 seed vs Alabama.

Finally higher than K St.

Yuck, please not an 8/9 game. I would rather avoid a 1 seed in the second round. I would be much happier to slip down to a 10 or even 11 seed to get a better matchup in game two. (Or better, move up to a 6 or 7 seed)

Pittsburgh would be awesome! My home in Ohio is only a couple hours away!

Hopefully ISU can avoid the 7-10 seeds so they can avoid having to play a #1 or #2 seed in the second round.

1) We're still rising. It doesn't stop here.
2) We can play with anybody. Bring it on.

This. 8/9 games are the kiss of death.

please no... i don't want to play Syracuse second round...they look really good with Fab back in the lineup

that and 8/9 games are hard to judge.

Hopefully we can rise to at least a 6 seed. That would be ideal

If were an 8 or 9 seed well be playing in Omaha not Pittsburgh.

If we were to be stuck in the 8/9 matchup, I think we have the best chance at beating Syracuse out of all the possible #1 seeds. We can out shoot that zone.

Don't worry, it's not final. There's still 8 regular season games left and anything could happen. Hell, we could go 8-0 and win the Big 12 tournament and get a 1 or 2 seed...we could still miss the tournament too at this point. I wouldn't put too much weight into things yet.

Offensively how do you think ISU would fare against Syracuse' match up zone. I know that generally I would salivate with Royce distributing to open shooters against most zones, but I don't know about 'Cuse. Thoughts?

If that happened, I'd pity a 1 seed playing us in Omaha.
