I enjoy Gottlieb. You won't find a more outspoken fan of the Big 12. He's very opinionated and that can rub the thin-skinned the wrong way. He's certainly good at what he does.

I personally dont think he ever said anything that bad about us... and I dont understand all the hate towards him. He has an opinioon, god forbid it isnt the same opinion we have. I think he is pretty knowledgable about basketball and knows what he's talking about. People on here just seem to think that anytime someone has an opinion that isnt praising this team, they automatically hate ISU. He has the same opinion about ISU that all of us fans had about 2 months ago, he is just slower to change his tune considering the issues this team had early on

I think the negative vibes comes from the fact that most broadcasters were saying Iowa State was a tournament team two weeks ago, while Gottlieb was still saying no way. He has changed his tune now, but it is now bandwagon.
