From an ISU BB Success perspective ... it was a long 9 nears.
Heres' to hoping Royce stays all three years.

Me too but far away from us. Loved Larry, his post-game interviews were must hear radio. I'll never forget during the Fizer-Tinsley season hearing him come on and be ****** after drubbing we handed out. Always wanting more and I love coaches like that.

Man I miss those days......
It's funny how we had BVD posting at one time.
Someone from Gred McDermotts family or staff posting.
Rashon Clark's GF while he was in college.
Someone that mentioned Good News was on it's way and never heard from almost since.
Glory days I say.

Re: LE on KXNO in moments.
Loved how he was so positive towards the Cyclones and the great things he had to say about Hoiberg. It would be easy to be bitter, but 9 years sober and his attitude show that he is a better person today and his record shows he is just as good of a coach (heck, probably better)!

Re: LE on KXNO in moments.
I think we can all agree that firing LE was a supremely ritarded decision. Then man got drunk and pecked a girl on the cheek. The girl was like 23. Amidst all of the pedophiles and child rapists that seem to be running amuck through collegiate sports now a days, this pales in comparison. Just image what the last decade would have been like with LE at the helm.

Re: LE on KXNO in moments.
Just listened to the interview. Man do I miss that guy and Pete. I got to know Pete pretty well during Tim's coaching gig - my wife and I were at the UNO game and we ran into Pete before the game and got to talking court side. Probably talked to Pete for 20 minutes before the CRN went on air. From then on he acted like we were old friends whenever we saw each other.
Larry was just as funny in person away from the spot light as he was in person. Our kids played ball together and I actually coached Hayden in LL for a while he is a good guy hearing his voice brings back a lot of damn good memories. I really hope we play against them in the NCAA. If we do I am there...

He would just post when someone would rip on him.

BVD was an Internet tool and as an AD, was very reactive (instead of being proactive) and was bad at reacting.
