I think the thing that really bothers me the most is the great opportunity the past 2 years to end our losing streak in GIA.

OSU had NO fans there tonight, the place was a morgue. OSU has 6 scholarship players. This was as close to a MUST win as we're gonna get. We are a LOT better than OSU IMO, but didn't play like it tonight. Defense was horrible.
I think we need to win the rest of our home games to make the tourney. Simple as that. You won't find many places tougher to win at on the road than Baylor, KSU, and Mizzou in the entire country. KSU will be our best chance.
A win tonight would have went a LONG ways towards the tourney. Now we're looking uphill again.
I do think KSU will lose 3 more games for sure, and hopefully 4 if we can beat them. If we finish 4th in the league I think we're almost a lock no matter what our record is.

Re: *****Official ISU OSU Postgame Thead*****
I want to state first of all that I'm not worried, and I know it was a tough loss BUT....
Anyone else think they played when they wanted to tonight. For instance, if they play as hard and with as much attention the entire game as they did the first three or so minutes, we blow them out of the building IMO.
Not complaining at all (I love this team), but that's what it seemed a little like to me.

We don't NEED to beat anyone else this year other than OU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech at home. That will be enough. We will be 10-8 in the league if we do that, and either in 4th place or tied for it (most likely). We're fine.

I thought the effort was poor defensively by a lot of guys. Focus was bad by a lot of guys. Sloppy, lazy. Very similar to OU game we just happened to win that one. It is a disturbing trend. We are just getting lazy.
If we play like we have the last two games we are going to lose some home games to some bad teams and we have zero chance on the road in the remaining games.
That was not a tournament team that played the last two games.
I am not worried, we are much better than we have played the last couple. But we need to pick it up now. Enough of this crap.
Chris Allen was good tonight.

I just wish Allen would have pulled up for a 3 at the end.

I pray we don't play them in the first round of the big 12 tourny.

Re: *****Official ISU OSU Postgame Thead*****
I thought we played okay and hated everyone of Allen's shots, even the ones he made. He absolutely kept us in the game and we would have been creamed without him. Maybe this was his break out game. Really he had only one shot I truly hated but it was the same type of shot that the cowpokes were making over and over again. OSU was making very athletic fall away shots that just killed us. I dont know how they could have defended them go hats off. Maybe we get another shot at them in KC
