It's not about who is the better shooting guard, it's who is the better point guard as that is the qb of the offense. Whoever plays the pg spot better, should play it as they are both good shooting guards as well as mcgee and babb.

Exactly. When Royce is at the free throw line, we only make a half hearted attempt for the rebound. We fade away on to defense.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Nope, not just a bad game. This is a pattern since the beginning of the season where he over-penetrates, jumps in the air and has his shot blocked or stolen. When he doesn't over-penetrate, he has made some nice passes for open shots, such as to Babb in the Kansas game.

Not to be too hard on Scott he is a nice off guard but I believe the above statement is the cold hard truth.

I agree that it is a pattern, but that doesn't necessarily make it ineffective. Look at the KU and KSU games...how many FTs did he shoot in those games and how many did he make? 18 points in 2 games mostly as a result of him driving to the hoop. I think what we have to look at with Scott are his strengths along with his weaknesses. He is a great 3 point shooter and FT shooter. He is probably the worst at finishing at the rim on this team, but if he is drawing fouls while doing so it is huge for us.

IDK for sure, but maybe Fred sees his ability to draw fouls and get to the line as a tremendous opportunity. I don't think Fred would continue to allow Scott to do this if he didn't. The problem is that some refs are going to allow a little more physical game and if that is the case we need to get away from this gameplan early.
