Chris Allen
You were huge tonight, this is what I was expecting, now keep it up, and play smart. We need you.

Re: Chris Allen
He played great tonight not having to run the point. Remember Chris is a 2 guard having to learn the point. Imagine this team with a really good quick pg.... Next year Lucious will be that guy..

Re: Chris Allen
Next year I smell elite 8 or final 4 and I don't think that is out of the question.

Re: Chris Allen
Forget next year... this year. Tough loss today, hope that the team handles it better than me!

Re: Chris Allen
Really glad to see Allen go off tonight. Too bad we couldn't pull off the win.
They need to bounce back for the next game.

Re: Chris Allen
Allen was clutch and a big factor to keeping us in the game. At the end, Nash was just better.

In a tournament anything can and does happen. We could finish with 25 plus wins and still lose in the second round. Wouldn't it still be a good year? I just hate it when people project or try to clarify how good of a year it is based on tournament results. The best teams don't always advance.

Re: Chris Allen
Just wanted to pop on here and give Allen some props for his hot shooting last night. Really kept the clones in the game.
Fred please move Chris back to the point position with Scott and McGee switching at the off guard. -
Re: Chris Allen
Yes, he was great. It does highlight the problem at the point, as both Chris and Scottie are WAY more effective at the 2, so whoever is running the point becomes less of a factor.

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
Are fans really this stupid?
As Freddie said on the post game show last night, Allen has played great basketball the last three games BECAUSE he took him off the point and as has felt much more comfortable and confident off the ball.

And the last 4+ games have shown that Scotty is much mentally tougher and able to handle the ups and downs of running the point better than Allen. We just went 3-1 through a really tough conference stretch, and I can't believe after the 1 loss people want to change up what's been working. It's mind-boggling.

Re: Chris Allen
So it seemed like Royce and CA scored the last 21 points for us. What happened to the others?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: Chris Allen
It is obvious that both CA and Scotty are more comfortable playing off the point, which of course is the problem for this team. CA has just not played it before, and Scotty is just not a good enough ball handler to play that position.....and for both of them it obviously affects their shooting.
It will be good to get Bubu back to give some minutes at the point, and hopefully the combination of CA, Royce, and Scotty at the point can continue to be successful.
I also will predict this.......by the end of this season, many on here will realize just how much we are going to miss CA and Scotty next year........even with a point guard next year.
