Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
Didn't see this posted anywhere. They have us as a 12 seed. The ridiculous thing is they have 8 Big 10 teams making the tourney. Ill., Purdue and Minn. all have losing records in the conference. Projecting the NCAA tournament field of 68 - College Basketball - Rivals.com -
Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
The big ten is so over rated its laughable.

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
Big 10 teams are always overrated. It pisses me off. Purdue does not deserve to get in and Minnesota should be on the bubble!!!

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
If this were to be the case, not one of those 5 seeds really scare me.

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
That's fine. 12 seeds win every year. Might as well put that on the resume.

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
Purdue and Minn. are projected 11 seeds. The both have winning records but are only 5-6 and 5-7 in conference. I'm surprised that Iowa doesn't get a nod from these fools.

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
I'd love a 12 or 11 seed. Better than 8-9 or 10-7 IMO.

Weren't you the one talking in the other thread about the melt down we would see if we got a 5 seed cause they always lose to a 12 seed. Not trying to say anything, just funny how it came up again in the opposite direction.

I think we'd win the game from either seed.

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
They have UCONN as a 9 seed...they would have to beat Cuse this weekend to even have a shot at that IMO.

What if we beat Creighton on a buzzer-beater? Place would crash.

Re: Rivals.com Tourney prediction.
if its a prediction bracket, there's no point in criticizing it. they're just predicting who makes it, and they could be correct, assuming all of these bubble teams start winning games.
there's no conspiracy in college hoops with regards to conferences. we have 13+ pre season games where everybody plays everybody. RPI and other quant systems then spit out data based on all those games. all of the media then look at that data and write about it, and watch games.
so when ohio state goes out and beats duke and florida, teams that beat OSU get a really good win (IL, IU, etc). Indiana beat Kentucky, Notre Dame and NC state on the road; Mich State beat Florida state and Gonzaga, Wisky beat UNLV, etc etc etc.
hate on the b10 all you want (obviously some of those teams are playing better/worse today) but the league piled up a boatload of wins PREseason, which is why the conference is highly ranked today.
