Yes it was great they played Cowbell! Unfortunately I was right in the middle of a chunk of students who sat on their butts and didn't do it... WTF PEOPLE!

A lot of people have no idea what the hell cowbell is.
I'll be honest, I didn't realize it was cowbell at first, the way the band played it today was new (to me) and it was awesome, the bass guitar sounded awesome! Once everyone caught on, all of us students were into it! Hope they continue to play it, because I loved it!!!!
"Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game"
"Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe?"

That's because it is slightly different without the tenor solo. Kind of goes back the original roots of cowbell. Hopefully it catches on with everybody soon!
I mentioned this in the postgame thread, but seems appropriate to post here as well: nice song choice playing Price Tag by Jessie J at the end for A&M.
I think it was more for my friends and I that we think it's kind of a football tradition at least at Iowa State. We didn't really get into it because it sounded off without 10k students doing it and in a closed stadium.
