man that OSU loss looms large now
such a winnable game to slip through our fingers. win that game and we are in sole possession of third place in the big 12. granted if we beat baylor we will be there anyway, but had we won that game things would be looking a lot better for us in terms of conference seeding as well as tourney hopes (not to mention being 2 games up on the 4th place team).
oh well. guess we just gotta beat baylor and be done with it.

Let it go. You can say the exact same about the OSU game at home or the KSU game at home. Those wins are looming large now too, aren't they? We 'stole' both of those.

Re: man that OSU loss looms large now
easy there big fella. we're in good shape. could point to any loss in the past and say the same (Drake, anyone?).
Lets keep eyes forward and enjoy the ride. I love this team!

Re: man that OSU loss looms large now
WE did not bring enough energy to OSU.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Overreact much?
Two weeks ago everyone said they would be thrilled with a split in Oklahoma. That was exactly what happened and a week later some people are still of the opinion that the OSU loss is going to kill us in the long run. GET. A. GRIP.
This team by all expectations from the media, the conference, even most of the fans is performing above expectations. Perhaps a year ahead of schedule. While I would love for ISU to be in sole possession of third place, I'm not going to **** and moan that we're not there, especially since the true alternative is that this team lived up to expectations and is riding at the bottom of the conference.

Re: man that OSU loss looms large now
Man, the losses to Drake, UNI, Michigan, KU, MU, OSU and Texas are looming large now. The team had the chance to win the conference and be ranked in the top. 5.

I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal about that game..I honestly didnt care if we lost that game. I kind of expected it. Big 12 wins on the road are tough no matter who you are playing (except for tech)

Re: man that OSU loss looms large now
We control our own destiny as to where we finish. Anywhere from 3rd to 6th place would be possible depending on how we play from here on out.
You can't ask for much more than that at this point in the season. After our last 6 years, just getting in the tourney is all I'm asking for.

Same here. Could be in second place right now in the Big 12. -
