Several CF posters who likely don't even understand that concept jumped down my throat. With the talent they've landed in hoops despite zero Big 12 championships this is likely just the tip of the ice berg.
I think jbh-something was the one leveling personal attacks at me for stating something incredibly obvious. He also used the word "slander" regarding my post with no idea how to correctly use the word. It's not slander for a rational person to comment that they think it's more likely Baylor's recruiting success is not on the level than that it's totally clean. That's common sense shaping a personal opinion, not slander.
Does anybody really think that these extra calls and texts really gave them an advantage? It is possible that the illegal calls and texts were made to athletes who never came to Baylor. Probably not. I'm interested to find out who actually got the calls and texts. Players are notoriously fickle these days, so perhaps the extra communication really did make a difference. For instance, Odyssey Sims seems like a head-case who would need constant help to keep her on-board.

For instance, Odyssey Sims seems like a head-case who would need constant help to keep her on-board. They involved Griner on some level. Hypothetically, let's say Tennessee called Griner as they were allowed and had phone contact with her 10 times in a calendar year. Baylor on the other hand called her 200 times. Who is developing the relationship? Who must care more?
The net result in this case is a National Title(s). BECAUSE - you put Griner on almost any decent team and you have an instant contender. The real problem is Mulkey's punishment is no recruiting this July and 2 scholarships if I read it right.
Well geez, let's start making some more phone calls Fennelly! The NCAA is a joke.
