Nice article! Glad you gave Babb the game ball on Saturday!

Re: Chris Babb spearheads defensive mindset for Cyclones

Great write up! If I remember correctly everybody at the beginning of the season everyone said we need to improve defense or it will be a looong conference season. Well they did, and now we are likely to go dancing!

Bring on the rest of the XII, we are ready to kick your ***..

Re: Chris Babb spearheads defensive mindset for Cyclones

He reminds me of Tim Floyd's lock down defender, Shawn Bankhead. Fortunately, Chris is a bit more polished on the offensive end than Bankhead.

Re: Chris Babb spearheads defensive mindset for Cyclones

Here's to hoping we get some solid defensive players coming in for the future. Babb's defensive efforts have thwarted his offensive efforts and with a few more strong defensive players we can balance that out and keep everyone fresh for both ends of the court.

I was having this same conversation with a buddy the other day during the OU game. I only have old videos to go by, but they both really seem to want the challenge.

Chris has a much better looking shot, though. Man Bankhead's stroke made Joachim Noah's look like Freddie's...
