I know, a 13 is a bit ridiculous compared to the other projections. But you have to remember how much of a Big 10 homer he is

I'd almost like his bracket and seed for us. We'd be playing Murray State RPI 34, SOS 208?? Then we'd be against the winner of Indiana-Miami. Not too bad.

Maybe he finally stuck a fork in Illinois. Losing something like 9 of their last 10 games and getting blown out by Nebraska will do that to a team.

That being said.... losing 8 of their last 9 games and he still had them in the tournament. The guy is a genius.

When Illinois beat St. Bonaventure 48-43 during the non-conference part of their schedule it should have been a solid indicator that the Fighting Illini stunk this year.

Looking at the number of teams that he is taking from the Big 10 and the Big East it seems like even four losses in a row would make ISU a lock if his logic is correct.

K-State is off his "Bubble Watch" too. Crazy what one good road win will do for you.

I believe it was Ken Pomeroy who showed that winning on the road in the regular season was not a good indicator of NCAA tournament performance. Then a Duke team that was undefeated at home and had 5 or so road losses went on to win it all. Palm apparently didn't get the memo.
