First 20 win season in...
7 years. Our 4th in the past 12 years. First 10 win conference season since 2001. That's 10 years.
Only on CycloneFanatic would our fans immediately start ******** about student attendance after attaining this feat.

Most sites, if they're just going to list one year of a season, will list the later year. The 2001-2002 season was a dark, dark time.

The people who are complaining realize those feats. You're helping to prove our point. Why would you not show up for a good team when success has been so hard to find?
go cubs.

Gotcha, although you got technical with regular season wins, my statement still stands -

What I love most about it is that, unlike most of us fans who are elated, CFH expects this and stays driven to do better and better and better. Sky's the limit with him at the helm.

A further detail we shouldn't ignore. This sounds like I'm raining on the 20-win parade, but it actually makes this season's accomplishment slightly better.
The closest to a 20-win season, post-'01, was 17-10 (I think in both 02-03 and 04-05) — which is a 27-game season vs. current 31. So the 20-win mark requires an adjustment to reflect winning percentage.
A 17-10 record in a 31-game schedule translates to 19.5 wins.
Still beat it — with 3 games left.

Only on CycloneFanatic would our fans immediately start ******** about student attendance after attaining this feat. keep in mind we only played 16 conference games until this year. With 18 games, the chance of 10 wins goes up.

Re: First 20 win season in...
This team has a chance to among the best in modern Cyclone history. 13 conference wins would put them 3rd behind LE's two teams. 11 or 12 wins in conference would certainly be right up there. As it is if they were to go 10-8, make the tourney and win a game or two- that is on Par with Orr's best teams. I think they can win some more games and the opportunity is remarkable - Kstate is playing its best basketball, Mizzou is top 10 and Baylor is top 10 talent. I think we get one of 3, but 2 would be phenominal. Making the tourney is the main thing, winning in the tourney is another opportunity - no one will want to play these guys and they CAN beat anyone on any given night. The job Fred has done is one of the best in the country, anyone complaining needs to read up on Cyclone history, yes Hilton was a damn tough place to play in the 80's and 90's but this team is more than Hilton magic was - talented, well coached with a chance win any game home or road.

Only on CycloneFanatic would our fans immediately start ******** about student attendance after attaining this feat. To be fair the thread started well before we obtained this feat.

No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine.
