i saw that too. Babb didn't even look at what was going on on the rest of the court. He was about 2 inches away from Nurse for the entire length of the possession. He denied him everything short of oxygen the whole time. Just swallowed him, whole.

Babb has a way of getting in their heads as well. Even when they can get away from him and get an open look they are rushing their shots because they know he is close by. Pledger from OU was a great example. That kid is a sharpshooter and he had 5 or 6 open looks against ISU where he absolutely rushed his shot and misfired simply because Babb was in his head.

This is the scary thing. Scotty will have to play the game of his life on D.

He either has to guard 1. Spradling who can go off at any moment 2. Rodriguez who is way too quick and been playing amazing lately. 3. Irving who is much much more athletic and playing solid lately too.

I think it's pretty simple for who guards who. Scotty has Spradling, Allen guards Rodriguez, Babb obviously has McGruder, Ejim is on Samuels and Royce guards Henriguez.

The defensive play that i liked the most last night was when McGee was trailing their lil white lebron with the headband, off two screens and came to the top of the key. In that play, McGee played tight d and adams thought he had him off balance and tried to draw contact from Mcgee and mcgee pulled away with adams throwing up a brick off the rim and white grabbed the board with nurse hanging off his bicep!!!!

Hope the same will happen this week to McGruder...
