Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
I don't get that. We are in a conference where everybody plays everybody twice. If we have a better conference record, how are we jumped? So we can play crappier but have bigger wins and that is better? Stupid.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
More wins (ISU) vs. better wins (KSU). I do not believe we have any reason to ge concerned though.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
Those two road wins were worthy of this. Normally I wouldn't say that, but in this case it was huge. We have our opportunities to do the same.

KSU will be favored in all 3 of their remaining games. KSU has a great chance to get to 10 conference wins with a couple of easy games left. 10 wins, along with the big wins they have had against ranked opponents, puts them in a commanding position.
ISU on the other hand has not had the same road success against ranked teams. And we have a brutal schedule left, where we will not be favored in any of the games.
Today, ISU has a better resume. But I can see why KSU is expected to have a better resume come selection sunday.
Stil, tournament wise we should be ok. But I'm not surprised that KSU is predicted to get the higher seed.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
It's annoying especially considering that this is the team that lost to freaking Oklahoma twice. Hope our boys can put them back in their place today.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
The bottom line is that our team controls their own destiny. We just have to win one of these last 4. Frankly, I couldn't blame anyone but our team if we go 0-4 and don't get in.

If we have a 20% probability to win at Mizzou.
If we have a 50% probability to win against Baylor.
If we have a 50% probability opponent x at the Big 12 championship.
Mathematicians, what is the probability that we win at least one out of 4? Would be reasonably high, I would think.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
We'll soon have the same opportunities to beat Mizzou and Baylor that they just had. Plus we have a head-to-head with them. Bottom line is that we still have the opportunity to end up with a better conference resume than them if we take care of business.

They have better wins than we do. I have no idea why anybody would have any problem with this.

Ya, I think we'll win at least 1. I think your odds are probably high.
@KSU- 25%
@Mizzou- 10%
Baylor- 55%
B12- 50%

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
They should, they are playing as well as anyone in the country right now.
Our guys must be warriors today, absolute warriors.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
DUH... they kicked arse on the road against two of the toughest teams in the conference. They are a better team at this point. Today we need to kick butt.

Re: KSU Already Jumped over ISU
We play the same schedule. They have better wins. Thus, they also have worse losses. Evidently better wins add more than worse losses subtract?
