Superstitions. Do You Have Any With This Team?

Ever since the KU home game (Gold Rules), I wear the same gold ISU sweatshirt with a cardinal ISU "Any Given Saturday" shirt for Saturday games.. This is my Saturday superstition. ISU hasn't lost a Saturday game with me doing this. I sit in the same place on the couch as well. I don't get the chance to do this during the week because of work. So, today I had to work. I thought to myself, ****, I have to work! ISU is on a Saturday streak. I put my cardinal shirt under my gold sweatshirt again and placed it on the couch where I would sit. BAM!! Another Saturday win!! Can't wait to watch when I get home. Not sure why I haven't done this during the week? OSU and Baylor come to mind.

I am convinced that this works. Anyone else have anything that you do for each game. By the way, my wife thinks I am a little crazy. Oh well, it's ISU sports!

I've eaten the same burger and had a few beers at Olde Main prior to every conference home win. I'll guarantee you I'll be there next Saturday before the Baylor game.

We've won about 90% of the games that I bet on the other team in cybookie this year. When I bet on us, it's almost a sure thing that we lose(exception being Texas Tech). That's all I got.

I thought I did, but then we just kept winning after I changed it up. I have no fear with this team, we're not a cinderella, we're just good.

Wear my Hoiberg jersey from the Cal game last year during every game.

Nope. It's the first ISU team that I haven't developed one. So, that's actually pretty nice.

I quite watching late game free throws. Not sure if that is a superstition or just too much nervousness.

I gave up superstitions...I just keep living my life...

As a matter of fact I do. I wear the same Iowa State athletic shorts under a pair of the same North Face pants, along with my Vibram 5-fingers during every game. I usually wear a Cyclone hoodie as well, but what I wear on top is not nearly as important as below the belt.

I do a lot of laundry.

Every away game I eat Felix and oscars pizza we win. Don't have one for home games.

Seriously?! I'm OCD so of course,but if I say any more I'll jinx them. That's part of it.

I watched today's game completely naked, so I'm going to have to do that the rest of the year. Look for me next Saturday in section 206.
