Andy Katz today
on ESPN radio was talking about the "bubble". He said the "back side of the bubble is SO WEAK" that they are struggling to find teams to put in the bubble conversation. I'm paraphrasing now, but then he said teams like Iowa are popping up and other very "pedestrian" teams. He further said that if teams like Long Beach, St. Mary's and other mid major's lose their conference tournaments, he thinks they will still get in because there aren't any other deserving teams. Van Pelt agreed and said it seems like it is tough to find 68 to fill the brackets.
ISU is not now and has never been on anybody's last 4 in or first 4 out list. The RPI is strong. The next 3 games are at #8, home vs. top 15 and B12 first round most likely vs. an NCAA Tournament team. Losses in any or all of these is not going to take us out of the NCAA Tournament, no matter what Jerry Palm thinks, whoever the hell he is.
GO CYCLONES!!!

Agreed, we lose our next 3 and we'll still be a 12/13 seed.

Re: Andy Katz today
Nobody is or should be concerned if we get in because we are already a lock. Iowa shouldn't be concerned either because there is no way for them. I don't care how weak the bubble is they will find teams before Iowa.

Re: Andy Katz today
At a minimum, I think we win 1 of the next 3 anyway.
As an aside, how nice will it be to finally be wearing the home unis in the first round of the Big 12 tourney for a change?

Re: Andy Katz today
I'm cool with a 10 as well. However, if I were to pick, I'd rather us slide all the way down to 11/12/13 to avoid those 1/2 seeds in the second round. I'd take Wisconsin in a 12/5 matchup in a second!

Those types will fill in the bubble before a crap team like iowa gets any serious consideration.

I agree, the only chance the Hawks had was to win out the regular season and at least a game in the b1g 10 tourney, that would've gotten them to 20 and on the strong side of the bubble but losing their last game killed their chance to even be on the bubble.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.
