Cyclone Alley @cyclonealley
@ISUAgronomist @greed90 Ideas are heard. CA doesn't control tickets method but will pass thoughts along
Hopefully "pass thoughts along" isn't passed aside by the AD.

Re: Cyclone Alley Twitter Chat
Am I the only one who thinks it is hilarious that non-students are in that tweet and actively participating. If I were a student that would **** me off. They clearly invited students and, yet, others just could not sit on their hands and let the students do THEIR thing.
Cue Springsteen and Glory Days!!!!

I think overall tonight is definitely going to step things in the right direction. Between the shirts, tickets, and general student enthusiasm. I'm glad they at least made the effort to do this.

Cue Springsteen and Glory Days!!!! As a student, anything that gets the point across works for me!
When they asked what we'd like to see in CA next year, I summed it up by saying "pandemonium". I think CA is finally listening.

Re: Cyclone Alley Twitter Chat
A simple solution to the problem...
Paper tickets. Abolish CA.

They said they're sending a more in depth survey out after the season to voice our opinions. I know it'll just be to students, but I don't think it stops here.

The obvious reason they don't is to keep them from going to non-students and therefore, hurting regular season ticket sales. Now that McD is gone, season ticket sales will not be an issue (i.e. soon to be sold out).

Student balcony tickets cost more than the sections around, so unless you found a way to get a CA shirt, you'd have to be rather dumb to pay student price instead of the $99 tickets.

Re: Cyclone Alley Twitter Chat
It looks to me like the AD is bracing for huge increase in ticket demand and the writing on the wall that the student section is going to shrink if it's not consistently full for conference games.
I'm guess we'll also see a hike in the corner balcony 99$ tickets or maybe a required donation to the NCC.

I had the idea of having a certain cut off date for students mid-season. If you bought the student ticket package, if you haven't redeemed or used any tickets by a certain point in the season, they should be taken away (probably have to be refunded) then resold to other students who really want them and will use them. Paper tickets would be a great start.
