Eamonn Brennan has Hoiberg for coach of the year
Experts' picks for conference POY, COY - Men's College Basketball - ESPN
Out of this panel, that's 2 for Self, 2 for Haith, 1 for Freddie
Looks like LE has 4 to 1 for COY in the C-USA

I think you missed the rest of the article, 8 more votes below that first line.

I don't want to get in a McDermott argument, but I find it really funny how Doug is unanimously voted POY for the conference, and the "coach" isn't mentioned. Being in Omaha and dealing with kNU football/CU basketball fans, this entertains me.

I still think birthing the potentially one of the greatest players in school history is way better than shouting. I am not even taking into account his coaching abilities either. I say his coaching and the shouting thing are a wash anyways.

Certainly a big contribution!

I figured somebody was getting to the shouting incident. I'd hate to be second place in the reference race.

CFH deserves it the most IMO

Re: Eamonn Brennan has Hoiberg for coach of the year
LE getting some love. If he wins, he'll have been coach of the year in 4(or 5?) different conferences. Not bad.
I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all. -

Ergo conceiving is coaching as well. Given that McD also developed Doug as a player growing up then McD should coach of the Decade.

Eamonn is from Iowa and has been giving the Cyclones love all year. Not shocked by this.
