Spud Webb? Go watch Jacob Tucker. I remember that kid had to send a hilight reel to the NCAA to get featured in their Dunk contest for seniors. And he dominated.

Soo can Fred just kick Railey off?? He's really a waste of a scholly.. IMO.. Sorry for the hate, but I just would rather have someone thats a hard worker and doesn't have the off-court troubles like Railey has had..

I'm sure you're perfect, maybe we can kick you out of school if you screw up once.

Being kicked off of a basketball team and being kicked out of school are two completely different things. Being on a university basketball team with a scholarship in hand is a privilege. Some people get mad that athletes are judged by a higher standard because of this, but make no mistake that it is a privilege and should be treated as such. There are plenty of kids out there who would love the opportunities that student athletes have.

How about not trying to be a coach? Let Hoiberg make those decisions.

"Hop" Tucker is one of the most impressive dunkers I've seen. Love when the little guys can get up.

I get some of you don't like railey, but I personally think its great to have a 6 10 guy on a practice squad. Makes it easy to recreate our bigs having to go against a tall player on the other team

Never really did think about that. I just don't wanna waste a scholly on a practice squad guy. Good point though

Centers usually aren't great until their junior and senior season unless they are amazingly talented, such as NBA talent. He is only a sophomore.

    So sad yet so true.

Further proof that Freddy is a dream-boat.

    Re: Tavon Sledge

I think having Railey on the practice team is helping us finish better. If he swats at the ball in practice the way he does in games, I think every and 1 we get can be partially attributed to him.

I'm just really hopeful that Tavon can make the adjustment and get on the court for us. The descriptions I've heard is that he's lightning quick, and with that kind of athleticism, would cause fits for opposing guards.

Would love to have a Pressey or P Jackson-style PG on the team. Someone who is a nightmare to stay in front of, is comfortable pushing the ball up the court in traffic, which will really open up the arc/ shooters. Not sure if that's Sledge, or Long, or someone else...
