Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
Uh didn't Dyksta opt not to play at ISU? If he didn't think he could hack it in the big 12 why would any of us?
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
I wonder if the national press will pick up on the Iowa State connections in the tourney. It is amazing, you have all the ex players then Larry and Greg. How about the tall kid from Utah that i belive went to LSU, are they going to be in?

Justin hamilton and no.

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
I just checked, Hamilton is averaging 13 pts and 7 rbs! I think most agree that it would have been nice to have him with Ejim. Looks like they will have to win SEC tourny to get in.

Good kid, but not a good fit for the team we are now.

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
No, probably not. But they would have made each other better. It certainly has been a interesting and strange time for ISU bb. lol.

Good kid, but not a good fit for the team we are now. I think you are right. Ejim is a hustler who saves a lot of balls during the game. Ham couldn't move very fast. Also, no way Ham should even be mentioned in the same sentence as Royce.

Hes basically the same player as vanderbeken I would love not see another Vanderbeken again. I loved his three point range but that was all he had. Booker can do work in the post in addition to hit the occasional 3 ball.

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
Hamilton was a part of one of the least mentally tough teams I've ever seen. I'm just fine having as few of those players left as possible. (Obviously don't throw Scotty in that boat. He's clearly been destined to play for Coach Fred.)

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
I guess all there is to say is everything worked out for all involved in a odd, convoluted way. -

Completely agree.

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
The common theme is that all of them are finding success at the MID-MAJOR level.
