McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
going to the dance. I remember the hate on here for them and how they were 'no good'. -

Clint Mann at Davidson also

And LaRon Dendy just missed it. (But he did carry his team.)

To be fair, they weren't Big 12 players. I'm pretty sure if the ISU roster was filled with those athletes the Cyclones would be playing tomorrow.

Played Dykstra in high school. Dudes gotten a lot thicker and stronger since then. I don't mind seeing him have that success. I mean, SDSU WAS my second college choice -
Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
I agree with them not Big 12 caliper.... What about Eustachy - what is his chance to dance?

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
Wasn't Dendy conference MVP?

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
I am referring to Doug McDermott, you know the one that NOBODY on here wanted to see in a Clone uniform and said he would be a mediocre Valley player, while there were 30,000 viewed threads on Barnes. Oh, by the way, who of the 2 was named 1st and 2nd team All-American? Hopefully Niang will be a Brunner-McDermott type player.

It sounds cruel, but this is probably true. The infusion of talent with the transfers and what it did for the team is a pretty good example to back it up. For the most part, the guys making an impact for ISU in the Big 12 right now weren't mid-major recruits.

Those fans probably didn't want him here because our coach wasn't recruiting him to play here.

Re: McDermott, Dykstra and probably Eikmeier
There's a difference between not being good for ISU and not being good.
