    coach dan mccarney

    i mailed a couple of letters to coach mccarney after he had his stroke. i told him about the stroke i suffered 14 years ago. i got a surprise response from coach danny mac yesterday.

    he said he was doing fine and he thought he had fully recovered. that is great news for our former cyclone coach. i wish him the best in bringing north texas back to full to the winnig circle.. north texas state has been down for several years in the win-loss column. . i hope dan can right the ship at north texas state..

    I'm glad he is doing well. I'm also very surprised that he has been upgraded in life to the title of Cosach. Very few indeed.

    Hopefully you didn't refer to his new school as "North Texas State" in your letters. It hasn't been that since 1988.
