Best individual Cyclone NCAA performances
The one i still remember was a exhausted Homan going 19pts 20 rbs against North Carolina and Sean May. Only other individual performance i recall is Hornacek's shot against Ball St. Who do you recall?

Re: Best individual Cyclone NCAA performances
Willoughby went crazy and had 34 in the UCLA loss in the Sweet 16 in 97.
Thigpen and Bayless both went for 30+ in the 2nd round against Kentucky in 1992.
Tinsley had a near triple double in the blowout of UCLA in 2000: 14 pts, 11 asts, and 9 rebounds.
Cato had 29 pts, 12 rebounds, and 8 blocks in the opening round win over Illinois State in 1997.
In the 1st round game against Minnesota in 2005, Homan also had 14 pts, 13 rebs, and 7 blocks.

Dude single handedly kept us in the game with his smooth bombs, and we should have WON!!
Homan's was quite heroic. We played no D against UNC and he battled his butt off against a bunch of NBA players. Sometimes, he seemed to be about the only one even trying on D.

Coming to my own defense! You're free to do so! My transgression was more egregious in all likelihood!

Re: Best individual Cyclone NCAA performances
The long forgotten--one of the best guard tandem performances in NCAA tourney history (not just by ISU), that nobody remembers
1992 Justus Thigpen and and Ron Bayless combined for 62 points (Hoiberg had 2 pts)
ISU vs Kentucky
at Worcester, MASS, ...UMass' home court in that armpit city.
-was an amazing performance. Nobody cares to remember it Kentucky vs. Iowa State (March 22, 1992)
