1) Chris Babb plays most of his defense with his feet. He keeps his player in front of him or funnels him away from the basket. When his player goes to shoot, he contest the shot. Pretty simple, but not a flashy player who rejects players or picks their pocket.
2) Texas has nothing to lose and must get to the finals to even have a shot at the NCAA's. The only teams they have beaten that are NCAA bound are KSU and ISU (at home). ISU may have their hads full for a half or 30 mins. Hopefully we are not looking past them with an eye on Missouri.
3) We are for the most part a jumpshooting team, accept for Royce, Ejim, and to some extent Christopherson. If we would be able to get past Missouri and Texas, we might have some tired legs come Saturday.
4) I would love to give Missouri a going away present on Friday.
5) I don not think that their are more than 16 teams that are better than ISU. I think we can play with the #5-16 teams. I am hoping to get to the Big 12 Finals and have a shot at a #5 Seed.
6) Ejim and Royce need quality minutes behind them, especially if either would get into foul trouble. We need rebounding and interior defense from Booker (and the occasional 3 pointer) to get far in both tourneys.

My biggest worry is that we are dependent upon the 3 ball, and I have gone to lots of these build the bb floor, have poor sight lines through the backboard, big arena layouts and sometimes it seems to really throw off the shooting for a long time as the shooters get used to the rims and look.
