We have a lot to learn from this game. In the big dance you gotta play 40 minutes of ball and protect the ball in each possession. This game tonight will help prepare us for the focus and intensity you gotta play with next week. The sky is not falling and we will be okay. Go Cyclones.
Agree... I think our team is more mature than most on this board. I think with Fred's leadership they will stay level headed and just continue to work as a team to get better and learn from their successs and failures.
Win or lose in the tourney... this team has impressed!!
Yeah, Freddie will have a lot to talk about, and I think the team will refocus. We're probably about to face another Texas-quality team in the first round, and if we take care of business like we can, it should be a W.
I dont think the seeding really matters to this team right now. They will just want to rip some one apart after this game. bring on the big boys early. will show em!
Maybe Royce will give a tear filled speech like Tim Tebow did in college and then the team will win the rest of their games. Or another Freddy table slam.
This team is only limited by their effort - when they lay it all out there they can play with most teams but they tend to not have that consistent effort.
IMO our guys got a big head from being ranked and getting the #3 seed with the upset of Baylor. Tonight just showed them that if they mess up again its season over, nothing to feel good about. I think we win one at the tourny, and there is only 1 #1 seed I fear (Kentucky) Cuse is getting alot of bad attention right now is is more vunerable than they have been for awhile. if we do get a #8 seed I'm not sure how they don't put us in playing Michigan State 2nd round. There is way to many stories and connections there not to put that as a 2nd game. That's my 2 cents #7 seed that plays Spartans in the 2nd round.
for a 2nd time, **** that we are screwed...i am not usually a debbie downer but we wont wont win game one in the tournament. it was fun while it lasted
