I don't understand how we come out flat for a huge game like this. Out late partying last night? Scotty was not himself tonight. How many blown layups? Worst defensive effort in quite a while. How do you not get a shot off in the last 36 seconds? Poor effort

Texas is a really hard matchup for the ISU guards. The tx guards are long, quick and very athletic making it hard for the Clone guards to get good outside shots and when ISUs guards can't get good looks it is going to be a long night. The bottom line is when they have an open shot they have to make it, and they did come through last night.

The part that really hits you in the nuts: "Seven straight times the Cyclones were left empty-handed at the Big 12 tournament. Every other school in the conference has won at least three tournament games in that time-span. Kansas has won 16. Iowa State has none. Brutal."

God that's awful.
