Things I Heard From Fans

I talked to a lot of Mizzzou fans yesterday. Not one single one of them was happy about the move. The hate the idea of not playing in Kansas City for the conference tournament.

I asked him if had ever seen Royce play and replied back with, "Nope I don't watch bad basketball." I came back with, "It's gonna suck when you play in the SEC then." He just sat there with a blank stare on his face. Most of the MU fans I encountered last night were nice. Heard there was a couple of *** hole MU fans in the ISU bar last night during the game.

I talked to several as well, and they were all happy to be leaving. Not what I was expecting to hear. I have spoken to several KU fans who seem to really love ISU.

Are us Iowa State fans truly any different when it comes to the teams that we play? I doubt it.

Yeah, most of the basketball fans and the KC area fans have to hate it. Beating a dead horse, but it just continues to puzzle me how their administration could think the SEC move is a good idea.

Wearing black and gold obviously has a detrimental effect on the mental state of some people.

Mizzou makes me sick. Good riddance I say.

I was on the elevator at the hotel, and a guy with a Nebraska hat got on. A fellow Cyclone fan said "Oh look, a Huskers fan. Now they brought as many fans to this year's tournament as they did last year!"

It is Mizzou that is all.

1. As disgusted as I was with losing the game, I was even more disgusted when I heard a fan a few rows away start yelling out about how horrible a coach Fred Hoiberg is.

2. I hate MU. The few fans I talked to however weren't too bad and no one said they wanted to go to the SEC, would rather stay in the Big 12.
