There are brighter days ahead for ISU MBB

Usually after the Big 12 Tournament its going to be next year, but not this year as ISU is going to be in the NCAA basketball tournament....

1st ever Sunday with anticipation since 2005 knowing ISU will be in the NCAA Tourney....

I'm really excited with what happened this year, and even more so with the things that are to come. I'm looking at this year as a bonus. 2nd year of a total rebuilding job, and we actually have expectations? That's awesome.

It will take a couple days to shake off the beating we just took down in KC. I don't see it causing us any troubles in the 1st round. Really wanted to get 1 tounry win under the belt to get some more tourney play expereince.

The future is bright not only for the rest of the season but for the next few years as well. There will lots of celebrate in the winter again!

This team is as good as any team in the country. Losing to Texas yesterday was a very very bad thing. I am still torn over the officiating but at the end of the day they choked when the game was on the line and couldn't even get a shot off. I can understand how they must have felt like the refs were deciding the outcome of the game... but you have to overcome that. This will either be the spark that brings them to the final four or the fire that burns them out in the first round IMO.
