3-9-2012 Bracketology
Still an 8 seed, but playing Purdue. Winner gets Syracuse (more than likely). I have some good friends who went to Purdue so that would be fun. I do like the matchup and think we could win it.

Can't think of a better team to play in the first round or a worse team to play in the second round.

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
Syracuse would be a nightmare for us with no point guard.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
At least after the Purdue game is decided, everyone in the world will know which is the better engineering school.

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
Sign me up for playing Purdue. After that we have to beat a one regardless, might as well be the 'Cuse.

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
If the right ISU team shows up, they can beat anyone.

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
I told my Purdue friend, and already he's like "Hummel can stop White." Don't know about that one...

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
After last night, I'm going to have to see this team right the ship before my confidence returns. Something was seriously off last night.

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
Syracuse is the last team we would want to play. There is no doubt about it.

Re: 3-9-2012 Bracketology
As a 7-10 seed, there will be no possible second round matchup that is good for us. Take your pick from this list ...
Syracuse, Kentucky, UNC, Duke, Ohio State, Michigan State
Count me in as someone that would be very happy with an 11 seed.

Count me in as someone that would be very happy with an 11 seed. I would much much rather play Duke, Ohio State, or MSU. I'm not saying we'd beat them but we'd have a much better chance against them than the other 3.

Count me in as someone that would be very happy with an 11 seed. Duke. They are like us in that they live and die by the 3. Our perimeter defense is outstanding it is our interior defense that hurts us. Maybe OSU too.

Someone in an adjacent group tried to tell me that Scotty was not feeling well. That is all I know. I was surprised that CA did not have a better game.

Beating any of them would of course be monumental tasks for almost every team in the country.
