That was a realty cool experience to be. Able to be with the team and a group of die hard fans at Hilton today. Made me VERY proud to be a cyclone! Did anyone record it or could anyone post when they cut to Hilton. We were right behind the big Iowa state banner that covers the tunnel.
It was kinda anti climatic to be honest lol. Kentucky playing whoever then us! I was hoping for more than 5min into the show. But it was still cool!
Yeah, after they said the kentucky game, I got as far as saying "alright, now don't put us here and I'll be h..." Followed by a "son of a *****!" Now I'm excited for it though.
Looking at a mock nba draft. 2 lottery picks for UCONN.. and kentucky...well they have 5 guys that are supposed to go in the first 32 picks. Thats freaking ridiculous.
Experiencing that today was a great feeling Hilton is just awesome to be at feels good to be there. Looking around and seeing the hardcore fans was incredible and we are lucky that we have the fans we do.
We all at times get tough on them, but it is because we love them and want them to succeed at least that is how I feel. Seeing them sit in front of all of us was surreal and was a proud moment for me sending them off the way we did.

He basically just talked about how great of a hire Hoiberg was and if you knew who Fred was you knew from the beginning that it would be a great hire even though some people didn't like the hire or "giggled" about it at the time.
