Cowherd said this morning that the PAC 12 Conference as a whole was 1-29 vs. the top 50 this year!

1-29. Has there ever been a conference with a record that pathetic before? I would think not even low mid major conferences were ever that bad!

No, they referenced that on espn last night. No power 6 regular season champ has ever been left out of the tourney, until this year.

Even Nebraska had a top 50 W. Matched the entire PAC 12.

The Pac-12 sucks, but they did technically have 7 wins against the RPI Top 50 this year, and 20 wins against the RPI Top 55.

Give them a break, the Pac 12 is more of a volleyball and softball conference. Football and Basketball are not their strong suit

You know what this means?

Pick Cal or Colorado to get at least to Round of 32, perhaps even Sweet 16.

That's the type of stuff that tends to happen.

Even West Coast Conference had a better rating.

Larry Scott and the Pac 12 like to brag about how much money they make and are worth in their TV deals. Maybe we should talk about how much Fox wants their money back and how little the Pac 12 will make this year from the NCAA tournament. Last time I checked, the whole conference gets paid on number of appearances, which later gets split evenly to conference members. So, with only two teams in the tournament at very low seeds and little liklihood of moving foward....... that sounds like Sun Belt money to me.

Not to mention Cal is in the play in game. If they lose that, do they even get a full share? If not and Colorado also loses in the first round, then the Pac-12 could get 1.5 shares. That would have to be a Big 6 record low and a major blow to the Pac-12 coffers.

There in lies the evilness of the Larry Scott Pac-12. They don't even have to be a good conference to rake in tons of money and screw up other conferences through realignment posturing.
