I am asking since us and UConn are 2 of his 6 considerations. Just wondering if any news has come with him lately. His twitter never mentions anything.

He would have to pay his whole way entirely, wouldn't he? I don't think schools are allowed to entertain recruits as an official visit on the road so they couldn't pay for anything or even provide a ticket.
"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr

Would be nice, guessing he considers himself one and done so seeing RW carve up UConn would be a huge plus knowing that guy can make me a lottery pick.
I highly doubt it since we couldn't visit with him and he'd have to pay his own way. Plus you don't see the campus, students, facilities, etc that you see when you visit a campus.
Not saying it would be an official visit or anything. Just curious how high he is on us or if we just talked him into coming up and he regretted it later and cancelled. I know they said it was a family emergency and it probably was. Just wondering since CWilliams got a text about his visit, he would know a little more about what is going on with him.

It wouldn't help him learn about the program and it wouldn't be free.
"Missouri is free to create an enduring basketball rivalry with Auburn."

He was supposed to visit for the Baylor game. He had to cancel. Since then, the team has been preparing for the Big 12 tourney and now the NCAA. Not a lot of time for the coaches to host recruits.
You guys need to chill out about this. It's no different for any other school across the country that is preparing for post season play.

Not even sure about the rules, but I would think this would be an automatic dead period where the coaches can't communicate with recruits. It would be pretty shady if UNC/Duke could talk recruits into going to their first round in Charlotte et al every year.
