No scholarships available. In fact, at the moment we are 1 scholarship over and have an offer to Norvel Pelle. If he committed we would be two over. I guess if Pelle doesn't come here we could, but I am guessing Fred is going to focus almost exclusively on high school and JUCO talent from here out.

remember that we lose 6 people for after next year..wouldn't be stupid to bridge that gap to even the classes out...we will be thin at guard especially in that year as we could possibly have ejim and white still here.

I'd take a transfer like this before a JUCO if spots were available.

I just don't think I would choose to add him over Pelle or another player that would contribute next year to improve in 2 years. Hopefully it isn't necessary anymore. With the targets Hoiberg is going after, this is the kind of talent he expects from high school in the future.

JUCO players being added are kind of apples and oranges unless the player is really elite I guess.

We are also going to be an extremely young team after next year. Bringing in an experienced and talented player like Zeigler might be what that team needs. Unless Pelle comes or Royce leaves, the rotation is going to be pretty much set with the players that are already here or that are already coming here next year. Adding a talented transfer every once in a while is probably a good thing. Marquette does it a lot.
