Anyone else notice that there were a ton of Connecticut reporters asking questions, but very few (if any) from Iowa or other Big 12 states? I guess you can count the Associated Press as a 'general' location. Just thought it was interesting.
The ESPNU guys talked about how Scott shouldnt have said the Kemba comment due to the fact that it would "fire up" the UCONN crowd. Im not sure they would take that as ammunition but the ESPNU guys seem fairly positive that UCONN is going to run away with this game.

so uh, is Kemba back? Haha great answer Scott. I love how Chris just had that "Are you kidding me smirk" the whole interview, like he was almost insulted that people were asking stupid questions

Shock the world!!! Ok, shock everyone who has never seen ISU play!!

People can choose to be fired up by it if they want to. He made the point very well that ISU is not playing the Nat. Champ. team, but rather the team that had a very similar record to ISU this year. It was a typical lame journalist question and he gave an atypical (for press conferences, typical for him) Scotty answer.
This thug isn't going to be intimidated by anybody, especially dweebs with notebooks!

"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr
I like the question....Is Royce White a tough defensive matchup? Really? Have you seen him play?
Royce handled that with aplomb. That was a trap question - he handled it the best he could - I'll just say what the coaches in my league say about me. Ask that of Chris and Scotty, but don't make Royce answer that.
