+1 Vandy played them tough the first 2 games they played too, before they finally beat them. Indiana also beat them by a point, and Kansas played them pretty tough early in the season.

If they didn't want to be playing in the SEC Tourney then why not just lose early instead of in the championship game? Seriously, if they didn't want to play for the SEC Championship, once in the game, that's a problem.

I agree though- I don't see the point of throwing away what we've been doing for the whole season. Maybe change it up from time to time, but we're not going to perfect a junk defense for them in two days.

Oh, and Kentucky is very good, but they're not unbeatable, and they play in a weaker conference. Not a bad one, but not one of the best either.

Vandy and Indiana beat UK by hitting their perimeter shots.

If only ISU were a team that had multiple shooters with more than 50 made 3's this year.

My guess is we mix in a little more zone than usual but we'll see man to man for almost all possessions. Babb will guard Lamb and Kidd-Gilchrist most of the game. He needs to stay out of foul trouble because we will be lost on defense without him.

Totally agree. If they were in the Big 12 I think they would have lost a couple of more games. Doesn't make them any less formidable, but to me means we will have our shot.

Vandy didn't do squat from the perimeter Sunday. They controlled the inside by taking advantage of Unibrow's aggressiveness. When he stepped up to block a shot they threw behind him. They also kept Kentucky's guards in check by playing really physical with them. Kentucky was 6/30 or something like that from 3 point land and that sunk them.

The Indiana game the Indiana guards suffocated Kentucky's and exposed their youth in their first true road test. Kentucky had a ton of turnovers if I remember right. Problem is that we are very bad about forcing turnovers.
