The guard court will also be entirely new. College basketball is a guards' game. Didn't you learn that tonight? I have no idea if you meant to post this on CF, or some other team's message board who happens to have players named Ejim and Gibson.
UConn, while not playing well, has several NBA players including two first-rounders. Babb, McGee return, and it won't exactly be Lucious and Clyburn's first rodeo. They are grown men.

We only returned 2 major players from last years team, placed 3rd in the conference, and got to the round of 32 in the NCAA's. We're adding a proven scorer and a real point guard for next year. I'd say there are plenty of reasons to think we'll be better next year.

Re: Next Year
Thread 1 of 10,000 on this topic. I'm off to invent a Buck Rogers sleep chamber that will make fall come faster.

Re: Next Year
With Royce we are a clear Top 10 team.
Without Royce we are still a solid tournament team.
Lucious and Clyburn will fill the holes from SC and CA (and I love those guys). We are also going to be much deeper with basically the same bench we had this year, plus Georges, Naz etc.
Cyclone basketball is back.

Re: Next Year
We will be a more conventional team next year with or without Royce. We won't have to rely on the 3 point ball to win us games.

This year, our offense just turned into Scotty dribbling 40 ft from the basket running around (with a more athletic defender guarding him) too many times. When Royce was minimized/controlled or really aggressive, we struggled offensively throughout the year.

AMEN. Our biggest weakness and why you didn't see as many minutes from Scott in the NCAA.
Hence, the excitement around Lucious (and we can't forget Bubu)
