Was on 100.3 here in Des Moines. They are wrapping it up now. Royce was first player interviewed and unless I missed it he wasn't asked about his future which I'm glad Walters chose not to. Fred talked about next years team and all we have coming in and coming back and didn't mention Royce until the end when he said he has a big decision to make for next year.

I heard Eric (in the car) with Royce. Eric's tone made me feel that he is assuming that Royce is gone.

Just wanted my last Hoiberg interview of the year.

Just by Fred's tone and both John and Eric talking it doesn't sound like any of them expect him back.

... Maybe all of these guys had bad tone because they lost tonight and it has nothing to do with Royce...

Or because they truly don't know what he'll do, but feel like they just witnessed him play himself into a top 20-25 pick in the last two games.

My guess is there has been no decision yet.

I'm sure there hasn't. He and Freddie will gauge the interest from teams, and then make a decision about what is best for Royce and his future. I hope for Royce that he is either very high on the board, or comes back.
