Great quote but it would have been nice if they had gotten their facts straight. I hope he's back but if he ends up moving forward, I wish him the best of luck.

I just get the feeling that it is going to take A LOT to get Royce to leave. I just don't think there is going to be enough guaranteed benefit for him to leave the situation he is currently in when there is so much he could do to improve his status.

He didn't let us down. He got us our first NCAA tourny win since 2005, he helped us finally beat Kansas, he got us our first AP ranking since 2005, but most importantly he helped put ISU basketball back on the map. I couldn't be more proud of what he has helped us accomplish.

I don't think they way he went out tonight is the way he wants to end his career at Iowa State. I will respect his decision either way.

projeced 19 overall in next year's draft. Dreymond Green of MSU is projected last of 1st round this year. That is a crazy good class this year. But his stock might have soared after tonight.

Before tonight I thought he'd stay...but all after Fred's interview on the radio I think it's pretty obvious he is leaning on going to the pro's. Either way I love RW.

That's how I feel. Royce White has been a pleasure to watch as a Cyclone fan and I hope he doesn't feel he needs to be sorry about losing to the #1 team in the nation.

As an NBA fan, I worry about his ability to stick without a jump shot, especially if he's a second round pick. If he had a comparable season while hitting 10-15 footers regularly I'd probably think he should take the leap.

I heard the interview and didn't get that sense at all. We just had a great season end. It makes sense for our coach to sound not upbeat and little down. Just because he didn't come out and say he's coming back, doesn't mean he still doesn't actually know what's going to happen.

Dominating Kentucky's vaunted frontline like he did tonight, I'm sure RW's stock rose dramatically. I think he would greatly benefit from another year in college IMO (developing a reliable 15 ft jumper and free throws), but if he is going to be a sure-fire 1st round pick I would not blame him for entering the draft. In only one year he made a great contribution to ISU's basketball program.

Was talking about Royce and said 'whoever gets Royce will be very lucky'...then kind of stamered and said 'if he decides to leave early'. Was sitting in my garage with a buddy and we both sort of looked at each other. I really figured I'd come to CF and see a thread on it.
