Rumor has it you have to beat Fred in a free throw shooting contest.

    Best of luck.

This is why we are lacking team managers.

I have a friend who was one for another college and the coach and his dad are buddies so that's how my friend got it.

    I'll have to ask CIMD

Not all hope is lost because Fred will hold your application in his left hand while he shoots...wait a minute...yeah, no chance.

Ask your HS coach to call the ISU staff and give a rec.

Re: How to become a team manager?

Send a couple e-mails to staff members. Have a couple former coaches or other coaches you've worked with send recommendations. Volunteer to help out at the summer camps. Give them reason to give you a chance (say you would like to get into coaching basically).

Basically if you don't know a coach well or have connections to them, you're going to just have to work your *** off and hope for the best.

Re: How to become a team manager?

It helps if you know one of the current managers. You have to work your butt off though. One of my good friend from college was a manager for Eustachy and Wayne Morgan (and had to go through party incident) and I remember him working his ***** off day and night for the team.
