Does anyone see a comparison between Royce White and Gale Beddicker from Breaking Bad?

Both have arms, legs, and, to my knowledge, reproductive organs.

I'm not sure I agree. Doing good is certainly good for his image, and in turn for his wallet, but the fact that he did the same type of thing before he was famous is a fairly good indicator of his motives, IMO.

Honestly, I don't care much about Tebow. He does a lot of good, a lot of people see it (by design), and he makes a lot of money off of it. It sure isn't his consistent play making him money and ad campaigns.

I do not make a practice of calling people turds, this was for effect. I thought this idea was a non sequitur, so I could either post on that or have fun with it to make a point. I am comfortable with my choice.
He could probably tone it down, but so many people are so afraid to speak their values. I give him credit for that. He doesn't need to apologize to anyone for what he believes.

Do you want the guy to sign over every paycheck to the church or various charities? The guy is allowed to make a living. Being wealthy isn't a sin and I'm sure he tithes. Besides, unless his accountant posts on CF and is willing to share his tax info, we have no idea how much he pledges to charities, church groups and causes he believes in.

Criticize Tebow for his play all you want, but these jabs at him as a person seem unfounded and unwarranted.

The guy played an entire football game and completed 2 passes. Yes... 2 passes. He is the definition of a turd.

A gigantic error in perception. The Denver DEFENSE won that game... along with many other games while Tebow was floundering on the field unable to put points on the scoreboard.

But haven't you heard. It was Tebow's presence and leadership that motivated and inspired the defense to play so well.

Trent Dilfer has the same qualities.

Re: Anyone see a comparison ....

Don't get me wrong. I think Tebow is a good guy who stands for what he believes in and that is outstanding. At the end of the day he is a great guy that is a pretty poor NFL quarterback.

During Tebow's "Winning streak" in which he went 7-1 as the Denver starter the Bronco defense was allowing an average of 15.88 points per game in the 7 games they won. That is outstanding defense in the NFL. In those 7 wins the Denver offense was averaging 19.25 points per game which is horrific in the NFL.
