The thing that excites me the most about next year is that our bigs shouldn't be afraid of playing aggressive defense, because none of them will be as crucial on the offensive end as Royce. We may not be as smooth next year, but I think we could easily be just as good as this year with some defensive improvement.

Re: How crucial is getting Pelle to ISU?
Getting Pelle to ISU would not be critical, but it would be nice to start "priming the pump" with a 5 star recruit when Fred has 5 - 6 scholarships to give out this summer.
The Republicans and Democrats fighting over who should pay for the deficit, is like two drunks on the Titanic arguing over who should pay the bar tab. -

Pelle is not coming here.

The mismatch would be nice in addition to Lucious, but with our guys having another year of experience with Clyburn coming in and the recruiting class I would expect a better season overall.

It would be great if we could get him but he has yet to visit and I'm on the side that he just straight up doesn't want to come to Iowa State. Crucial? No way in Hell
My teams: (as of 2/27/13) Cleveland Browns: 5-11 - .313 Cleveland Indians: 68-94 - .421 Cleveland Cavs: 19-38 - .333 Iowa State Cyclones (FB): 6-7 - .462 9/22/18 & 9/7/19 Akron and Iowa State CAN'T WAIT! -

Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

It is not that crucial.
We have Ejim, Gibson, Niang and Booker to play in the post next year. Clyburn is a guy that could see some time at the 4 spot as well since he is 6'7.

It may not be crucial to get Pelle, but I think that it is crucial to get SOMEONE. Coming into a season with 4 players for the two post spots is worrisome. Find a shot blocker...don't care if it is JUCO, prep school, transfer, whatever.
