Here is what ISU will be losing
If Royce goes to the NBA, and with the graduation of Scotty and CA here is what ISU will be losing from this year's team:
Players who collectively shot 45 per cent from the field, and 40 per cent from 3 point range.
52 per cent of the scoring.
40 per cent of the rebounding
68 per cent of the assists
54 per cent of the free throws taken
53 per cent of the free throws made
50 per cent of the 3 point shots made
52 per cent of the field goals made
I was surprised by some of these.
As far as next year goes, I think Clyburn, Niang, Long, Dorsey-Walker, and Okoro can make up for a lot of the scoring. I would also expect to see Booker, Gibson and Ejim step up in both scoring and rebounding. I don't see Korie doing a lot of scoring, or even shooting for that matter. I think he will be a true point guard who facilitates everything.
Any thoughts?

Okay.. Now convert that to per dollar......
Re: Here is what ISU will be losing
I think Clyburn will have the most impact on scoring if he is as versatile as I have read. Luscious will have the greatest overall impact on the team. We are going to be a very different team, but with Fred's creativity I think we will be fine.

or to Schrute bucks.
Re: Here is what ISU will be losing
That's a load, but we will be returning (less the stats, I'm lazy and I'm also at work):
Babb, Ejim, McGee, Booker, Palo, Gibson all with good minutes and contributions
Clyburn and Lucious, two proven high major players
Niang, Long, Dorsey-Walker and Okoro coming in.
Question marks on Sledge and Railey (at least here on site)
That is a team that I can get excited about.
Edit- how the hell did I forget Percy?

I think you windmilled that stat on three pointers? Unless you meant he assisted 50 percent of the 3 pointers?

And the heart of the team. Not to mention the one person who could will us to victory in different ways (scoring, rebounding, passing).
Re: Here is what ISU will be losing
I think Percy will step up in big ways next year. He did very well for a freshman post player this year. Also, Clyburn will likely be our leading scorer next year.
Re: Here is what ISU will be losing
This is why we have coaches.
Re: Here is what ISU will be losing
This kind of thing happens everywhere. Reload by adding the transfers and freshmen, along with other players taking bigger roles

Those percentages are the three players combined. All of them.

scratch long, dorsey walker, and okoro from your "scoring" bucket and add lucious, mcgee, and gibson. lucious will score plenty.

But glory... is...forever!

Agreed. Another off season worth of work outs will go along way with Percy.
I think he could become a force to reckon with over time.
Clyburn most likely will be leading scorer but also think Ejim could have a huge imporovement next year. He has tons of upside just needs to bring it all together every game.
