I'll be honest, I don't know that much about APR. But I found it interesting that in RW's presser yesterday he talked about completing his academics to the point where it wouldn't hurt ISU's APR. I haven't heard early NBA entrants talk about that before so I thought that was pretty considerate on his part.
What does he need to do in order to do that? Finish the semester in good standing? Complete a certain number of credits toward his degree?
APR= Academic Progress Rate. Basically you need graduate at least 50% of your players in football, men's basketball, and baseball. It is adjusted if a player transfers or turns pro, as long as they leave in good academic standard. This is the problem UConn is having in MBB and why they facing a post season ban next year..
