Honestly Iowa only needs a type of player like Lockett to be a NCAA Tourney team next year. Without a player like him they are back to being a "decent" NIT team.

Eh...I don't know if I want to add another senior. I would rather add a true transfer that would have time left after next year to play if we were to take a transfer.
I will take the leading scorer from ASU. To say otherwise is bull

The fact that there is a solid chance Lockett would be coming off the bench and the whole thing about having zero open scholarships would probably be detrimental to ISU signing him.

Who cares except for when they actually play us. We know exactly who Babb will shut down next year if Lockett comes in.
When we beat Iowa, we will want them to be a solid team to help our RPI.

We already know Fred and staff are recruiting him as Royce said yesterday. Among others.........

That tells me all I need to know about Lockett. We want guys that have big goals, guys that set the bar high, guys that want to work to achieve greatness. We don't want guys that set the bar so low that Vern Troyer could step over it. Lockett should go play for Iowa and maybe just maybe if he reaches his goals he might get to showcase his talent in the CIT or CBI.

Not that I care if we get him but he likely would apply for a waiver since he's trying to play closer to his dying mother (see Tyler Smith)...though he probably wouldn't win that fight unless he went to the Gophers
