I do believe there are several posters on here who display an uncanny level of stupidity on a regular basis, but that is an internet message board for you.

People are drooling over Lockett because he was the leading scorer of a team at 13.5 ppg. Coleman is a year younger and played in a MUCH tougher conference. Coleman averaged 13 ppg last year. Not that great of a shooting percentage but Fred can help him out with his shot a little bit during his year off and his last two years of eligibility. I think he could be a great player.

So....you are getting all excited about a player essentially identical to SD-W--except that SDW likely shoots better? And would be a soph by the time this guy is ready to play?

The advantage to Lockett is that he could help, then open up a scholarship then next year again. And as far as balancing out the classes--it's already known that Fred is recruiting at least one juco, which would do just that.
